Our Founder Tamika Austin, M.Ed
She/Her

As a Black woman from North Philadelphia, Tamika understands firsthand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with navigating the education system and workforce, especially as a first-generation college student. Raised in a community where resources were limited but potential was abundant, Tamika witnessed the disparities that exist in education, career access, and workforce representation—particularly for Black youth and Black women. This personal experience is what fueled their passion for creating an organization that bridges these gaps and empowers young Black people to achieve academic success and professional fulfillment.
